Pit Sounds II

Early in the 2000 I started to play my favorite spots on vibes and given the obvious limitations of the instrument it gave me quite a lot of trouble initially (massive Wagner scores does that), but after a while it worked surprisingly well and I learned that, when you boil these orchestral scores down to the absolute basics -  melody, harmony and rhythm, you unveil the greatest songs ever, magical music that works in almost any shape or form. Sometimes I can even feel that this music deserves a bigger audience, outside the controlled world of opera.
